REALLY PLEASED WITH THIS LAPTOP, BETTER THAN EXPECTED AND SO EASY TO SET UP AND USE.

Had this laptop 4 day windows 8 had problems connecting to wifi to internet tried to back hard drive up unlike windows 7,vista,Xp this can be done with disk with windows 8 you have to use a 16gb USB flash drive I when an paid for a new USB flash drive but window 8 will not let me back up drive also the battery life is not good i have repaired laptops for years windows 8 is a nightmare would not buy or upgrade to windows 8 Microsoft need to fix the problems before they sell a product to the public sum it up in simple words don't buy.

After looking for a laptop that was no more than 14in and was in a colour I like with a cd / dvd drive, I came across this 14in light purple (violet pink) slim laptop. It seemed to offer all I wanted and it has not disappointed. The only thing that isn't great is the battery life which is just under 4 hours, however I knew this when I bought it so I'm not complaining, just informing...
