The chain saw was not the one shown in the picture on line. This one cant be tensioned manually by hand, but has a very small awkward screw that has to ne regularly adjusted with a small screwdriver, which is a real pain when doing a lot of cutting. I would have returned it when I saw it wasn't as shown, but needed it urgently that day. Needless to say very dis-satisfied.

the item is excellent does what it says, i havent had a problem with the chain coming off but have had problems with the starting and stopping off the chainsaw. but excellent product

It is perfect for lopping branches and chopping logs for the woodburner. It could do with a slightly longer lead, but I used a 50m extension lead with no loss of power.
