If you are looking for a soft cuddly cushion this is not for you, the wool is rough and so is the back of the cushion cover. However, it is a very attractive unusual cushion and well made, and if looked after it will last a very long time. I am going to buy another cushion, and I would love to buy the matching rug, but it is too pricey for me at the moment, I will keep an eye on the rug though in the hopes that it will be in a sale and reduced in price.
Some reviewers have complained about the cushion having a bad smell, but my cushion has no smell at all.

I love the design of the cushions but do have one complaint the woolen flowers are very rough. Would have thought they would have been softer.It does say DO NOT WASH but I have soaked them in a fabric softener which didn't make any difference to the roughness, maybe in time they will soften up.My Grandchildren have complained that they are like sand paper but I still like the design
