Hand-held console pioneers Nintendo are staying ahead of the curve with the new Nintendo DSi, the latest incarnation of the world's best-selling portable video game system.

The touch screen technology, WiFi connectivity and voice recognition capabilities of the Nintendo DS and DS Lite remain, with exciting new additions to further improve the experience.

The casing is now slimmer (12% small than NSDL) but the screens are actually bigger (17%). Built-in internet also lets you browse on the move.

Two cameras, downloadable Nintendo DSiWare and the option of playing your favourite music via SD cards now make it easier to apply your own personal touch to the DSi, no matter where you are.

You can use it to boost your brain power through the popular Dr Kawashima's Brain Training titles or enjoy immersive gaming with the likes of Professor Layton, Mario Kart and Peppa Pig.

The two cameras - one points towards the user, the other outwards - come with ten lens effects, including distortion, colour and mirror.

Moshi Monsters: Moshlings Theme Park, invites players to restore the legendary Moshi theme park to its former glory.

Players progressively unlock six zones by successfully building attractions and rescuing the scattered Moshlings (adorable, itty bitty pets for your pet monster). Moshi Monsters: Moshlings Theme Park introduces players to a brand new, exclusive Moshling that can transfer across platforms to the online world.

Inspired by the Disney Pixar animated film, Cars 2: The Video Game lets players jump into the Cars 2 universe with some of their favourite. Cars personalities in exotic locations around the globe. Continuing the storyline from the upcoming film, players can choose to play as Mater and Lightning McQueen, as well as some brand new characters, as they train in the international training centre - Chrome (Command Headquarters for Recon Operations and Motorized Espionage) to become world-class spies.

They'll take on dangerous missions, compete to become the fastest race car in the world, or use their spy skills in exciting, action-packed combat racing and battle arenas. Cars 2: The Video Game introduces the international training centre -Chrome (Command Headquarters for Recon Operations and Motorized Espionage) that expands upon the film storyline.
