  • At first glance, Sabrina (Melissa Joan Hart) is your typical 16 year-old girl, with all the usual teenage hang-ups. What's not so obvious, however, is the fact that she is half-witch, half-mortal... and not half good at magic! With the loving guidance of her supernaturally-inclined aunts Hilda and Zelda (Caroline Rhea and Beth Broderick), Sabrina not only learns how to use her powers for good, but how to deal with her mortal problems in an equally responsible manner. Much of the show's humour comes from Salem, a talkative black cat who coughs up one-liners like they were hair balls. This release contains the complete collection of Sabrina The Teen Witch spanning across all seven series. Certificate PG. Contains 24 discs.

  • With a fine cast and fun in-jokes, Disney's Enchanted is sure to cast a spell over both children and adults. It begins with a 2-D animation sequence reminiscent of the company's beloved past. Surrounded by dozens of cute animals, Giselle (voiced and later played by Amy Adams) sings about her desire to find her one true love. Meanwhile, a handsome prince (James Marsden) overhears her, and they meet and fall in love. In many Disney movies, this is where the story ends, but Enchanted is just starting out on its journey. The princes wicked stepmother (Susan Sarandon) cant stand to lose her throne, so she pushes Giselle down a well, and the beauty ends up in the real world. Gone is the animated fantasy, and a live-action Giselle lands in the middle of Times Square in New York City. Her optimism and perkiness put her at odds with the New Yorkers she encounters, but she gets help from a cynical divorce lawyer (Patrick Dempsey) as she waits for her prince to rescue her. Fans of Disney classics from Sleeping Beauty to Beauty And The Beast will be glad to see their favourite films referenced in Enchanted. Jodi Benson (the voice of Ariel in The Little Mermaid) makes a brief appearance, and the evil queen threatens to kill Giselle with a poisoned apple a la Snow White. Though it reminds the audience of past favourites, Enchanted boasts its own script that is at once intelligent and heartwarming. But the true highlight of the film is the acting by the fairy tale couple. Marsden (Hairspray) couldn't be funnier as the charming prince, while Adams (an Oscar nominee for 2005s Junebug) gives dimension to the heroine. As a result, Enchanted is a film that deserves to sit on a shelf with Disneys classics. Contains 1 disc. Cert PG.

  • This collection brings together the first seven series of the BBC's re-imagined DOCTOR WHO, which began in 2005 with Christopher Eccleston relaunching the role of the crusading timelord. Ably assisted by the plucky Rose (Billie Piper) for the first two series, the second series saw David Tennant take on the mantle of the 'Tenth Doctor'. Martha (Freema Agyeman) and Donna (Catherine Tate) were later swept up in the wild intergalactic ride, before the Doctor regenerating into the contagiously gleeful Matt Smith. The Eleventh doctor toured space and time with Amy Pond (Karen Gillan) and her lovable-lug-of-a-husband Rory (Arthur Darvill), before solving the enigma of the 'Impossible Girl' Clara (Jenna-Louise Coleman) in 2013. Men In Black: In the 1950s a super-secret government agency was formed to monitor and police the activities of extraterrestrial aliens on the planet Earth. • With Dinosaur, Disney breaks a new stride in the technological revolution of computer animation--combining computer-animated characters with digitally enhanced live-action landscapes. The effect is literally unbelievable and the clarity, realness, and definition of the pictures easily make the once surprising effects of virtual reality seem like the dark ages.
A dinosaur egg is stolen from its nest and passed along by various birds, animals and other predators each hoping to eat it. Fumbled into a community of kind and nurturing lemurs, it cracks open and Aladar, a baby dinosaur emerges. He lives happily and peacefully among the lemurs, who raise him into adolescence. However, when a natural disaster occurs, wiping out the beautiful rainforest that was their home, teenage Aladar joins a dinosaur pilgrimage--and discovers his true ancestry--in order to bring his lemur family to safety. Far sweeter and much more realistic than recent dinosaur movies like Jurassic Park or even classics like The Land Before Time, these new digital dinosaurs are surprisingly human with emotional eyes and expressive voices that make the magic nearly tangible.
