Spiderman 1 to 3 boxset
Contains 3 discs. Triple bill featuring the first three movies from the hugely popular 'Spider-Man' franchise. In 'Spider-Man' (2002), when high-school student Peter Parker (Tobey Maguire) is bitten by a genetically-altered spider while on a visit to a scientific institute, he soon begins to experience unusual side-effects - such as increased strength, enhanced wall-climbing skills, and the ability to spin webs out of his wrists. Peter first attempts to make use of these skills to impress girl-next-door Mary Jane Watson (Kirsten Dunst), but after his Uncle Ben (Cliff Robertson) is killed in an armed robbery, he is compelled to work for the greater good and reinvents himself as Spider-Man, the enemy of criminals everywhere. In 'Spider-Man 2' (2004) two years have passed since the events of the first film, and the mild-mannered Peter Parker (Maguire) faces new challenges as he struggles with 'the gift and the curse', desperately trying to balance his dual identities as the web-slinging superhero Spider-Man and his life as a college student. Tormented by his secrets, Peter finds that his relationships with all those he holds dear are in danger of unravelling. His life-long yearning for Mary Jane (Dunst) becomes even stronger as he fights the impulse to reveal his secret life and declare his love. In 'Spider-Man 3' (2007) Peter Parker (Maguire) and his girl Mary-Jane (Dunst) are on the cusp of contentment - but not for long. Cert 12.- Price

One Tree Hill - Complete Series 1-9 DVD
When this popular nighttime soap debuted in 2003, Lucas (Chad Michael Murray) and Nathan Scott (James Lafferty) were sworn enemies on and off the basketball court. The reason for this tension eventually revealed itself: the boys were half-brothers. This bitter secret proved to be just one of many that would shape the drama of Tree Hill, the town where Lucas, Nathan, their families, and their peers all reside. Parental conflict and steamy romantic triangles create much of the show's tension, with the character of Dan Scott (Nathan and Lucas's father) developing into one of television's most sinister villains. In a bold move, the show's fifth season jumped ahead to the group's post-college years, introducing a whole new set of challenges for its characters. Includes every episode from series 1-9. Cert TBC. Entourage - Complete Series 1-8 DVD
Like Larry David's Curb Your Enthusiasm, the Hbo series Entourage offers a knowing and quasi-satirical inside look at the world of show business within a faux documentary' format. Premiering July 18, 2004, the series (initially titled Sundance Kids) top billed Adrian Grenier as Vincent Chase, a young, wealthy, and very hot movie star. As Vincent's hard working agent, Ari Gold (a character based on real life agent Ari Emmanuel and here played by Jeremy Piven), tried to keep both his client and his client's career on the right track, Vincent tended to ignore Ari and pay more attention to three buddies from his old Queens neighborhood, who formed the entourage of the title. Vincent's stepbrother Johnny (Kevin Dillon), aka Drama, made no secret of his intention to use Vincent's success to further his own acting career, while his PAL Turtle (Jerry Ferrara) was content to parasitically luxuriate in Vincent's lavish lifestyle. Only his friend Eric (Kevin Connolly) seemed to like Vince for himself and not for what he could mooch off him -- and not surprisingly, Eric's advice and remonstrations were frequently ignored in favor of the sycophancy of Vince's other pals. Includes all episodes from series 1-8. Cert 15. Contains 23 discs.

Dexter - The Complete Sixth Season - Blu-ray
After playing a mild-mannered funeral home director in Six Feet Under, Michael C. Hall makes a smooth transition to a serial killer in this original series. But the twist in this smart show is that Dexter chooses to prey only on other serial killers. As a child, Dexter was adopted by a cop (James Remar) who quickly realises that his new son is no ordinary boy. Since Dexter is compelled to kill, his law-abiding father pushes him to choose his quarry in a way that will best benefit society. As Dexter grows older, he works as a forensic blood-splatter expert in Miami, giving him a close view of other murderers and their handiwork. Stylish and blackly comic, this drama is adapted from Jeff Lindsay's novel Darkly Dreaming Dexter. Includes every episode from series 6.
