I use this product both on myself and willing family members. It's perfect if you want to be able to get started straight away - this has everything. However, a full pot of wax does take 1 hour to be able to use. It's easy enough to turn it on and do something else.

I use the soft wax on legs and facial hair - (quick tip: use thin wooden coffee stirrers for small areas) and I use the hard wax on underarms and bikini line, this is a personal preference though.

Without practice it could get messy and the only problem with the heater is the length of the cable to plug it in.

Overall, this is great for the price and it's easy for use on yourself or others. It's also seems less painful and its cost effective against a box of waxing strips.

OK lets get this straight, Im a dude.. up until now I have done my monthly (or 2 monthly) trip to the lovely albeit sadistic lady at the salon to sort out my mono-brow!. 10 mins of pain and romeo done!

In an effort to save time and money I thought i'd get myself this bad boy!

Taking it out of the box the DVD fell on the floor which made me excited! I was expecting some 80s themed explanation of how it works but I was surprised that it was actually quite well explained!

For my first attempt I wasn't brave enough to do my eyebrows (you can't put hair back!!) do I thought id give my chest a go. Why I chose this I don't know as I shave my chest coz waxing HURTS!!!. I used the soft wax coz thats what the DVD said (and it sounds like it will be nicer to you ha). I plastered the stuff on, it's quite messy but it's not too bad, put the strip on and RIP! yes it hurts and yes it's red after but totally clear of all hair! Excellent... didn't have time to finish so did the rest the next day :)

So basically it works but is painful (did you expect anything less lol)

If you want something quick then this isn't for you as it takes 60mins (i gasped too) to heat the soft wax and 20 mins for the hard (the hard wax seems to be for people who enjoy pain... looks very hurty in the DVD)
