I have not received this item yet, but i bought the same bed in 2004, and it is great. I would not buy any other bed but Sealy, you get what you pay for. I hope this new one is just as fantastic as the one i have.

Experts recommend that you should replace your mattress or bed every 8 years.
Open spring
The most widely used spring unit. There are at least 288 hour-glass shaped springs in a 4ft 6in mattress and 325 in a 5ft. All offer different levels of support.
Hand-tufted
Tension tapes are passed by hand through the mattress and secured by felt or wool buttons, securing the spring and surround springs.
Micro-quilted
A smoother surface than tufted. The raised pattern is created by stitching varying levels of fillings to the cover.
Ortho
A firm or extra firm mattress that provides extra levels of support. However, if you suffer from a bad back, you may find a memory foam mattress kinder to sensitive joints.
Pocket sprung
Luxurious individual pocketed fabric-linked springs independently compress and expand - continually adjusting to your body shape and weight.
Natural Latex
A natural rubber product that moulds to body contours and quickly recovers its shape. Ideal if you suffer from allergies or asthma as latex is naturally hypo-allergenic.

Make sure your furniture can fit before you buy. Double and king size divan bases split in half for delivery.
