Windows 8 is confusing, not easy to use and very slow. As for laptop itself, it's fine. Can't really tell if the laptop is ok, as Windows is so slow...

Firstly, the laptop is great for the price. It is good value and even from a catalogue it is very well priced.
The RAM it comes with will make it sluggish at most things, however, it is easy and cheap to add more (check youtube to see how easy it is!).
There is a texture on the trackpad which makes it frustrating to use (think about dragging your finger over sandpaper.
It comes with Windows 8 which is very different from all previous versions of windows. It is being said it is easy to get the hang of and easier in many respects compared to Windows 7. he issues raised by previous reviews are simply people trying to get the hang of it and I would recommend that you take the negatives re: Windows 8 with a pinch of salt
