Take 3 Examples
Here's what it might look like if you buy more than one item in different months using Take 3.
What is Take 3? >
Take 3 is a simple way to split the cost of the things you buy into 3. You can take 3 months to pay for your purchase, instead of paying for it all in one go. The purchase amount is split into 3 payments, evenly spread over 3 months, and as long as you pay all 3 payments by the payment due dates, you will avoid paying any interest.

It couldn't be easier. Once you have a Very account, you can start shopping with Take 3, straight away. Simply click 'Add to Account' to put your purchases on your account. Remember you don't have to pay anything right away, just pay the Take 3 amount on your statement. We'll send you this each month, which for Take 3 is every 28 days. Your first Take 3 payment will be due on your payment date, which varies slightly each month but we'll let you know when it is. By paying the Take 3 amount on your next 3 statements means you won’t pay any interest.

Yes, there's no limit to the number of items you put on Take 3 in one go, across the same month or in separate months! The only limit is your personal credit limit.

If you miss a payment or are late you'll be charged some interest and a late payment charge, however you can also set up a direct debit on your account, to ensure you don't miss any payments.
If at any time you want to pay less than the Take 3 amount, you can! You just have to pay the minimum payment on time each month but you’ll be charged interest.
Can I pay as I want? >
No, to pay with Take 3, you must pay at least the Take 3 amount detailed on your statement, and make all 3 payments on time over the 3 months. You'll avoid paying interest if you do this.
Do I decide when? >
Your purchase will be split across the next 3 statements, and we will tell you when your 'Payment Due Date' is. Your Payment Due Date varies slightly each month, as we produce statements every 28 days.
Can I set up a Direct Debit? >
Yes it's easy to set up a direct debit, you can do this in 'My Account'. You have the option of setting up a regular automatic payment of either the full balance, the Take 3 amount, or the Minimum Payment every month, so you’ll never forget.
Is there any upper limit? >
No there's no limit to the amount you can put on Take 3, or the number of items you put on Take 3 in one go, or across the month. The only limit is your personal credit limit.
Is there a minimum order value? >
No, everything we sell can be added to your account, and will have the option of Take 3. Any delivery charges or insurances you add to your order can also be paid for with Take 3.
What happens if I miss a payment, or my last payment of the 3? >
Late payments, missed payments and insufficient payments will mean your purchases will be charged interest. If you pay late we will charge a £12 fee, and this will be recorded on your credit history.
How is interest worked out if I miss a payment? >
Interest is calculated on:
• The remaining value of the order, •The number of days between your last T3 payment and the next statement. So if you make payment 1 but don’t make payment 2 you’ll be charged interest on the remaining balance for that item(s) minus the value of the first payment and from that point in time onwards.
To keep your interest down, the more you pay, and the sooner you pay, will reduce any interest that’s due.
If at any time you want to pay less than the Take 3 amount, you can. You just have to pay the minimum payment on time each month, but you’ll be charged interest.
