Featuring a lightweight aluminium frame, paired with geometry built to be agile and responsive. This combined with wide puncture protected tyres and disc brakes - brings comfort and confidence to the rider, no matter the surface or condition.
The Dawes Discovery 1.0 features Shimano Tourney 3x7 gearing with lever shifters, ensuring smooth and reliable shifting. A 28/38/48T chainset paired with an 11-32T cassette provides a versatile gear range for tackling city streets, gravel trails, and everything in between. Braking is handled by 160mm mechanical disc brakes, delivering consistent stopping power and control in a variety of conditions.
The bike's designed to offer a sporty yet comfortable riding position, with a raised head tube enhancing your line of sight for added confidence, and improved handling. Dropped seat stays to absorb vibrations, and 40mm-wide tyres help flatten out the riding surface.
Ergonomic handlebars, lock-on grips, and a padded saddle make long rides enjoyable, while the sleek, contemporary frame design combines style with practicality. With mounts for a rear rack, front and rear mudguards to keep you dry, and reflective tyre accents for visibility, the Discovery blends form, function and value for a great cycling experience.
