Dischidia nummularia 'String of Nickels' 12cm Pot
Item number PC7AP
Dischidia nummularia 'String of Nickels' 12cm PotThis climbing Asian succulent is currently taking the internet by storm and it¿s not difficult to see why. With its trailing strands of perfectly positioned, succulent leaves, it makes the perfect subject for blogs, vlogs and all manner of social media sharing. Naturally at home on trees, the tropical String of Nickels plant gains a foothold in cracks and crevices and creeps along branches, hanging down in draping curtains of green - a truly spectacular sight in the wild and fascinating when grown as a houseplant. Also known as the Button Orchid or Ant Plant, the flowers are tiny and really rather insignificant when compared to the thick grey-green leaves which look great spilling over container edges as a houseplant or as a temporary garden plant (remember to bring it in when cold weather threatens though). Supplied as an established plant in a 14cm pot, ready to make an instant impression. Easy to grow, plants can trail up to 3m so Dischidia makes a perfect candidate for a hanging basket where it can trail down in front of a bright window. Note: Decorative pot in images is for display purposes only and is not supplied.
