Hardy Patio Palm Tree Collection

This exotic palm tree collection is sure to turn you garden into a tropical paradise! Creating instant impact, these palms will make a striking addition to any garden whether planted direct in beds and borders or in containers on the patio or decking. The architectural, evergreen foliage creates vivid, dancing shadows in the summer sun and will maintain interest throughout the year. Growing as tall as you let them, their large fan-shaped leaves will spread luxuriously out above stout trunks, forming an impressive canopy of lush green foliage. Each will thrive in the UK, reaching their full height in 10-15 years. Winter hardy down to around -5C, they'll be fine in a sheltered border when given winter protection, or you can grow them in pots on your patio, decking or balcony and move them undercover when bad weather threatens. Both Trachycarpus and Phoenix hold a prestigious RHS Award of Garden Merit, so you can be guaranteed that they are garden-worthy plants that has been trialled and tested for their suitability to grow in UK gardens. Supplied as three established plants in 14cm protective nursery pots, ready to plant out or repot: Washingtonia robusta - Commonly called Cotton Palms because of the wisps of cotton-like strands that fall from each leaf, they provide a wonderful spectacle in any setting. Hardy to -5°C (200cm x 150cm). Chamaerops humilis AGM - Also known as the Hardy Fan Palm, Chamaerops is compact, weather resistant and harrdy to -5°C (250cm x 150cm) Phoenix canariensis AGM - The Canary Island Date Palm, winter hardy to -6°C. Deep-green leaves fanning out above to form wonderful shadows on your patio this summer. (200cm x 120cm)
