You Garden Muscari Grape Ice - 15 Bulbs

Muscari 'Grape Ice' brings striking two-tone style to your spring garden, with densely packed spikes of small, fragrant, bell-shaped flowers. Also known as grape hyacinth, this award-winning bulb has a compact habit and a distinctive look, making it especially effective at the front of sunny borders and in patio pots.

Growing to around 20cm tall, it works well in low containers, border edges, gravel gardens, rockeries and spring underplanting. Pair it with daffodils, tulips, forget-me-nots, crocus and other compact bulbs to create a layered display with strong lower-level colour. It can also be planted on its own in pots, where the unusual flower spikes can take centre stage.

Plant in autumn in full sun and well-drained soil or compost. Water after planting, avoid heavy waterlogged ground, and allow the foliage to fade naturally after flowering. Left undisturbed, these hardy bulbs can naturalise and form fuller spring clumps over time.
