Easy to use, it works well over paint or varnish – just ensure your chosen surface is smooth, dry and free of contaminants, and it can also be used directly on everything from bare or painted wood to brick, stone, plaster or even plastic. The sumptuous clotted cream colourway means highlights in key spots are almost as effective as an all-over new look, and it can offer exceptional coverage in just one coat.

This paint can even be used to create a distressed look. Just add two coats in contrasting colours then sand or scour your furniture down when dry.
