Just pour double cream into the durable glass jar, attach the lid with its built-in churning mechanism, and turn the handle to rotate the paddles. In around 10 minutes, you'll see the butter fat separate from the buttermilk-signalling that your homemade butter is ready.
Once churned, simply strain off the buttermilk and use the Kilner Butter Paddles to mould and shape the butter to your liking. The remaining buttermilk can be saved and used in pancake or scone recipes. Get creative by seasoning your butter with herbs, spices, or sea salt for unique, delicious flavours.
