Originally designed as a chintz textile in 1877, Double Bough has been coloured in a timeless palette of porcelain blue and finished with a beautiful, printed oxford edging, drawn from one of William Morris's original pencil and ink drawings in the William Morris Gallery archive. Designed in 1873, the Vine and Leaf design that frames this bed set, reflects William Morris's fascination with the natural growth of plants. The flowing vine leaves and curling tendrils create a rhythmic pattern inspired by medieval decoration and the observation of garden plants. Paired with a statement stripe on the reverse, created from one of William Morris's original drawings, for a true Arts and Crafts inspired look. Available in sizes: double set, king set and Super king set. Set includes duvet cover and 2 pillowcases. Pillowcases available to purchase separately include two in a set.
